What Bailey Does

People have described me as a human hub, a term that fits my desire to make connection with as many souls within our beloved faith as I might, perhaps unreasonably, hope to know. As a consultant, I specialize in interim/transition periods, supporting congregations and staff teams as they explore their music history and imagine their music ministries in bold, new ways, as well as offering individual coaching.

Work we can do together includes:

  • Visioning
    • What’s the boldest, most creative thing we can imagine?
    • What, if anything, is holding us back?
  • Analyzing congregational and staff systems
  • Assessing the current music program/ministry
    • What have we been?
    • What do we love?
    • What do we long for?
  • Reviewing the current music director job description to make sure it’s spacious and flexible
  • Helping to build a thoughtful search team
  • Supporting current music staff
My work is inextricably tied to being an adult with ADHD, which allows me to perceive seemingly unrelated ideas and events as a cohesive whole, and allows space for others to think expansively as well.
